Psychological Research Center consists of several Divisions & Units, the Scientific Divisions are:

This division is concerned with preparing researches and studies in psychological, parapsychology, social and educational issues which aim at achieving the goals of the Center. In addition, it participates in the researches and scientific activities of the institutions and state offices of the country to enhance the societal development.

This division is specialized in developing, arranging, administrating, and applying various psychological, and parapsychological instruments. It provides services in this field for the society in general and for the state offices and institutions as for diagnosing, and classifying individuals, in addition to adjustment processes.

Another goal of this division, is to make an adaptation & translation of different international instruments into Arabic language and collecting Iraqi norms for these instruments after translation. This division is run by qualified staff including senior PH.D. and M.A. levels in the fields of clinical psychology, mental health, psychiatry, testing and scaling, and general psychology.

The duty of this division is preparing, planning, performing, and applying the training programs in the area of extrasensory perception (ESP), mental abilities, psychological health, and scientific, administrative and educational development
